Brian Nicholson is a Managing Director with Sonoma Brands, a growth equity firm focused on the consumer sector. Brian is involved as a board director (or observer) with companies including True Botanicals, Made By Nacho, Versed, HUM Nutrition, Beekeeper’s Naturals, Yumble and Mixlab. Previously, Brian was a growth investor with Stripes, a New York City growth equity firm, where sourced and led investments in Reformation, Refinery29 and the Black Tux. Originally from Los Angeles, Brian’s mother and grandmother immigrated from Mexico in the 1950s in search of a better life. Inspired by his family’s immigration story, he is actively involved a board member with La Luz, an organization providing support and social services to the immigrant community in Sonoma Valley.
